Salt

A story of now and of long ago.
Unearthed in the space where body and memory meet, Salt is a ‘solo-duet’ that delves into identity, ritual and tradition. It is an exploration of our relationship to water, and a dialogue between where we have been and where we might go. Rooted in the Songor Salt Lagoon in Ada, Ghana, this multi-layered, multi-media dance piece is a fluid conversation between our bodies and the land on which they live.

Perfect Immigrant
Built around Liliona's experience as an immigrant to Canada, this piece asks questions about belonging, citizenship, identity, and notions of home. Part poem, part dance, "Perfect Immigrant" examines the ways we mold and are molded by narratives of 'us' and 'them'.
